Nog steeds duizenden vrachtwagens geblokkeerd in Groot-Brittannië

In de buurt van de Britse havenstad Dover zitten op kerstdag nog steeds duizenden vrachtwagenchauffeurs vast. Op de gesloten luchthaven van Manston en een afgesloten deel van de M20, de autosnelweg die Londen met Dover verbindt, staan nog altijd meer dan 5.000 vrachtwagens, zo meldt het Britse persbureau PA. Veel truckers klagen dat ze door hun voorraad water en levensmiddelen heen geraken. Velen hebben ook geen toegang tot sanitair.
